Finally got these shorts in the mail from Forever 21 – was a little disappointed that they didn’t rise all the way to my waist, but figured it was due to my, erm, lack of stomach muscles, to put it politely. Please disregard the writing on my hand in the last shot; my coach told me something I needed to know (and it has since been forgotten.)
Stay hot tater tots,

Can I just say that when I saw those House of Holland shirts I spazzed a little? They are everything I ever wanted in a shirt: button-up, pastel, colorblocked, and, by the looks of it, sheer. They would look amazing paired with those jeans and that watch, no? Add some Zara shoes (my current obsession) and BAM! You’re stylish! Not that you weren’t already. But.. now you’re more stylish!
Have a pastel-rific spring!
Lauren
It’s times like these that I wish I had a harsher face. If I did, I may be able to pull off a witchy look. But alas, I was born with a round face, so it just doesn’t sit quite right on me. I guess I’ll have to stick to classic chic. (I swear, if I had a dollar for every time I wanted to look more “witchy,” I’d have enough to buy a Chanel bag, at least…)
That being said, I still can’t wait to break out the sheer pastel button-ups and floral pants (to match my flower crown, DUH!)
Stay hot tater tots,
Lauren
Hello there, fashion blogging world. As I know you all are well acquainted with Lauren however, I am new in these waters. I’m Emily and I’m going to start off by saying I have a problem. I have this itty bitty (and when I say “itty bitty” I actually mean gigantic) obsession with Kaiser Karl Lagerfeld. Yesterday I raided my closet and this is what happened…
This is what I like to call the Lagerfeld look with a feminine touch.
Pretty good, no? That is to say if Uncle Karl wore heels and were an awful lot shorter.
From me to you with love,
Emily.
PS- Thank you, Lauren, for the wonderful photography job.
Today will be the anniversary of a monumental decision in my life – my decision to move blogs and to blog with my friend Emily. The subject came up in art class, when Emily asked if I wanted to start a blog with her. I said yes.
But why leave your old blog, you ask? Why not blog on both? I can answer that easily. I haven’t posted on my old blog in a month. I blog in spurts, generally – I’ll go through periods when I post every day, and then I won’t post for weeks. I figured that blogging with another person would give me the kick in the rear I need to actually stick to blogging. Plus I rarely have enough inspiration for one blog, let alone two.
Anyway, I’m still here. Expect to see regular posting begin tomorrow!
Love,
Lauren.
